Postgraduate Studios

When I end my career I want to study a master of political science.
During high school I was always interested in policy. I remember asked myself: How policy works?How the people choose a candidate? and I used to have so many other question about how all the political processes happens and how they were created on the society. And that's what I want to learn in the master: investigate, analyze, and contribute in the search of solutions for problems posed by national and international public and political activity.

I want to do it here in Chile but if I can do it in another country like Spain I would love it too, but I know it's hard to study abroad. I've been thinking that maybe I can apply to a scholarship and join the course in Spain.
I would like to do the master like a part-time course because I think that if I do it that way I will be more responsable with the times of the class and the class attendance.

On another hand I want to do a hairstyling course (after graduate from college) because I always help my friends to dye their hair and I want to know how to do it better and professionally. It's important to know how the dyed hair get damaged and how we can repair it.

Summer Plans

This year I moved to Santiago and I live with a friend of my faculty in an appartment that it's near to the university. My mom and my stepfather helps me paying my rent because I don't have many time to work now. But, in the summer I will have to work to pay my rent so I' wont have time for travels...
Anyway I wish I could visit my hometown at least for a week, I would like to visit my best friends, my grandma and my cousin. Near my hometown (Concepción) there is a beautiful beach called Ramuntcho were you can go camping, I would like to camp there with my best friends and with friends of my faculty who have never visited Concepción. The last year with my friends we camped in Quillón and we have a good time together so this summer I would like to repeat that.

Besides that, maybe not this summer but I would like to visit Chiloé, I think it's a very interesting city, and the south of Chile in general seems a good destination for me.
In another future summer, maybe in 3 years, I would like to visit Colombia because I think that it's a beautiful country with great journalists who have resisted corrupt governments, false peace agreements and the pressure of drug trafficking. (I recommend you a colombian Youtube channel called "La Pulla", there are journalists comment on colombian and Latin American reality).

Well, so this summer I will work but I hope I can go to Ramuntcho. I will leave a photo so you can see how beautiful that beach is

Series: "When they see us"

My favorite serie since 2015 was "Psycho-Pass". But, in last July a friend recommended me to watch "When they see us".

"When they see us" is web serie produced for Netflix that it's based on the events of the 1989 "Central Park Joger" case. The show explores the lifes of the five males suspects who were accused of rape and assault. Four of the five men were afroamerican, and the other one was latin. They were innocent, but condemned anyway.
I enjoy the series who are based on real events, but I specially liked "When they see us" because it expose the flaws of the american judicial system. Also, it reveals how racist the american society trully is.
 When I was watching the show, I cried on every episode because the violence who suffered the five innocent guys was just heartbreaking. That is a side of the society who no one wants to see: the side who oppress people that are not white.
In the first episodes, we can see how the police department pressured the five guys to "confess" the crime even when the clues, the places and the time did not fit. They don't even try to get another suspect. It was so frustrating, but at least, in 2003 the real five men sued the City of New York for malicious prosecution, racial discrimination, and emotional distress. The case was settled in 2016 for a total of $3.9 million.



Now, I would like to see Sense8 because it is a friend's favorite serie and she always tells me about how good it is. 

My future job

My dream job is to be an investigative journalist.
I don't know where I would like to be that, but I imagine myself trying to investigate things that are hide, things that the people have to know. Maybe in the world, specially in South America, is very dangerous to be a journalist who want to bother the powerful ones, but I'm not scare about that. Obviously sometimes the job would be outdoors and other times indoors, it will depends on the case.

I would like to travel, but I don't know where, because I think that my job could be usefull in many countries, and I'm willing to travel anywhere. But, I know I will miss my friends, in fact I already miss them now in university haha. This year I'm studying my first year of journalism. I have theoretical subjects more than practice, but I like that. In the future I will have subjects associated with TV, radio, reportage, etc.

The salary is not important to me. I don't even think about that to much, I'm fine with a simple life, so I just want a salary that allowed me to have that. I want a little apartment, and if I stay in a city for some years I would like to have a cat.

The end of the world

I think the end of the world would be because of the humans. But not every human is guilty in the end of the world. I know many of us think that using less plastic and purchasing metallic drinking straws the planet would be better, and it's partly true, but only PARTLY.
In the last time I saw many vegan people talking about how being vegan is one of the ways to stop global warming. They are right, we have to consider veganism. Not only for the planet and the million hectares that the cattle-raising industry destroy per year, but also for the million animals that are suffering every day.
Veganism is a valid ethical measure, but in therms of global warming we have to do more because in late capitalism there is nothing like a "cruelty-free lifestyle". In some countries people are still a kind of slaves. Even in Chile, you can go to Recoleta and watch how in some sewing workshop womans work ALL DAY. They are sewing ALL DAY in exchange for less than the minimum wage (Link of the article). This is cruelty too. This is disgusting. And this cruelty is promoted for the same groups of persons who destroys the forests. They are only interested on the money.
So, if we really want to save the planet, and end the cruelty that is not only suffered by animals we have to STOP the brutal capistalism.
If we don't stop it, I think humans will be dead soon. The earth is answering to the damage we are doing. If humans survive to the end of the world, at least they will not be the kind of human that we now know.
I really want to know when the end of the world will be, because I still believe in people. I still have faith.

My favorite Super-Hero

When I was a child, my uncle used to took me to the cinema and the first movie of superhero I ever watched was "Avengers"in 2012. Then my uncle showed me a lot of comics of super-hero. I think my favorite of Marvel was Spiderman, and my favorite of DC was Wonderwoman and Batman.
I like Batman because of his mindset. In her youth he suffer a lot, but that pain pushed him to became a hero and defend people based on his sense of justice. And I like Wonderwoman because she was one of the few female heroes that I know in my childhood and adolescence, at least in american comics. And, I think is very important to appreciate the female referents in the super-hero's industries.
My favorite Marvel's super-hero is Spiderman, because I like the story's timeline. Specially in the comics. I like the way Peter evolve and the enemies he face. Everyone must know "Venom" but in Spiderman's comic are much more great enemies. "Carnage" and "Kraven, the hunter" are my favorite enemies. Some people think "Carnage" is a improved version of "Venom", but Marvel gave a movie to "Venom" first.
And now that we are talking about movies, I have an unpopular opinion of what is my favorite version of Spiderman in movies. My favorite Spiderman was interpreted by Tobey Maguire. I know NO ONE likes Tobey Maguire the most. And I agree that Spiderman 3 was a bad movie, but in the other two I think Tobey acted better the real personality of Peter.
Andrew Garfield was a better actor in therms of performance, but the personality of Peter was not THAT clever in the beginnig, he evolved later.
Anyway, I recommend to watch "Venom", I was a little disappointed because I expected a lot but I think is a good movie anyhow.

Diamond Edge

I was fifteen years old when I started listening to the kpop band "Seventeen". The band is composed of thirteen boys who are divided on sub-units. There are three sub-units: Hip-Hop unit, Vocal unit and Performance unit. In every album there are songs of the three units together and songs of every unit singly.
Quickly I was a huge fan, and I started chatted with other people in the fandom. In one of those groups I made a lot of friends.
On August 29th of 2017, Seventeen came to Chile in the Diamond Edge tour.
The day before the concert, the producer company raffled 500 "hi-touchs" among the 3000 fans who bought a VIP ticket. I get so excited because I won one of those "hi-touchs". I would be able to greet and say "Hi" to the members.
The day started chaotically, I forgot my ID in Concepción (the city were I lived then) and the concert was in Movistar Arena, Santiago. I needed my ID because it was a requirement to enter the Hi-touch.
It was 8 o'clock and I was in the civil registration waiting for a new ID. As soon I get the receipt I went to Movistar Arena. There I teamed up with the friends that I met in the chats, specially with my friend Valentina. We wait until the wardens start calling us to check up for the Hi-Touch. Me and Valentina got accredited and wait in the file to enter. We were very nervous and excited. Finally, we enter the room and say "Hi" to the members, but it was very fast. I saw Jun, my favorite member and I literally screamed. I was shocked. We left the room in less then 3 minutes. Then we enter to the court and ran to the grating. Valentina remained a little bit far of me in front of the grating, but then appeared the best friend of my ex (haha) next to me. The best friend of my ex is called Vania, I first met her in 2016. The concert start and Vania spent it next to me, we cried, screamed and sang a lot. His favorite member was also Jun, so we yelled "JUN" many times. It was a very special moment, everyone was happy and excited. When they sang my favorite song, I really felt like it was the best moment of my life.

After the concert, me and Vania follow each other on Instagram. I saw in her stories that she wanted to study cinema in Santiago. I told her that I wanted to study journalism in the same college.
In 7 March, 2019 we met for our first day in college and we quickly became friends. Now I live with her in an apartment. This is the story of the best day of my life and also the day I met someone who's very important to me now.

A country I`d like to visit

If I can travel anywhere, I would like to go to Tokyo, Japan. I don't speak Japanese but I would like to learn it. I know a few words, like "mother", "pather", "hello", "thanks", but I don't know more than that. I would like to study Japanese there.
 Since I was thirteen I was a huge fan of anime. I remember spending many nights in summer watching "Hunter X", "Death Note", "Elfen Lied", "Evangelion", "Psycho-Pass", and many other animated series. Since then I wanted to go to Japan, because I wanted to see places that I saw on anime, and know the city where "the magic" happens. I felt so connected to many feels when I saw "Hunter X" in 2014, that up to know is my favorite serie. So, I would like to visit the animation studio where it was created.
And, I would like to go to Tokyo because I think I would feel more near to the places I used to watch, and the environments that the Japanese culture have. If I go there in addition to animation studios, I would like to visit the Shibuya district (Meiji Shrine), the Tokyo Skytree, the Sensoji Temple, and many other places.

In the internet, nothing is private. Before the "Nido.org" case happen, i used to have my real name in social media and my profile was public. But after that, i try to use pseudonyms in my profiles, and keep it private. I was scared because I didn't know if someone can get my personal information, like my addres, my passwords or something like that. I reflected about the internet. We don't know the real power that internet have, we can know everything about a person if the person don't take some safety precautions. 
Now in Instagram (my favorite social media) I don't use my real name, and in my profile I don't have personal data like the place where I study, the city where I live or even my age. 
I really like Instagram because the media platform format is dinamic and use photos for the post give the chance to people to being creative. I think even the artist are beneficiaries of Instagram, cause they can show his art and become famous.
But, I know Instagram can be dangerous if we post or show in our public profile some personal details.
